Editorial policy

The accountability page. What this site does editorially, what it refuses to do, and the standards a reader is entitled to hold it to.

Independence

Editorial output is produced independently of every AI chat app, anime studio and platform mentioned on the Anime Girl AI page. No app reviews its own coverage before publication, receives edits in advance or holds veto rights.

Affiliate revenue in plain language

The site earns affiliate revenue. Some outbound buttons open an anime girl AI app through an affiliate link. When a reader signs up or subscribes after clicking, the site may receive a commission from that app, at no additional cost to the reader.

Affiliate revenue is not allowed to influence any of the following:

  • Which archetype gets recommended for a first chat.
  • What the free chat checks flag: free allowance, paid actions, renewal, refunds and character ownership.
  • What the privacy checks flag: age rules, visibility of chats, training on private chats and staff review.
  • Whether a critical point gets softened. If an app's Terms contradict its homepage, the page says so.

Sponsored content policy

None. This site does not accept sponsored posts, paid placements, native advertising or guest posts from apps it covers. If that ever changes, the change will be labelled and disclosed on this page before any sponsored content is published.

Corrections and the correction log

Confirmed factual corrections are handled openly. When an error is verified, the affected page is edited, the schema dateModified is updated, and a line is added to the log below. Typo fixes are not logged; factual changes are.

Correction log

  • No entries yet. The first factual correction will be logged here with date, page and nature of the change.

Sourcing standards

Every material claim on the main page traces to a named source (such as Encyclopaedia Britannica), an app's own Terms, a hands-on check inside an app, or the Japanese roots of a term. Fan conventions are described as conventions. The weighting between source types is documented on the methodology page.

Adult-only coverage

Every character discussed on this site is an adult, and "girl" refers to the anime art style. Content that presents a character as a minor is not published, and reports of such content are handled ahead of any other correction. The rules are set out on the age verification page and in the 18 U.S.C. § 2257 statement.

Reader rights

Readers can expect an accurate publication date on every page, a visible author byline linking to the editor's profile, a correction pathway, an affiliate disclosure and the identity of the editor responsible. Data handling is covered in the privacy policy, reader rules in the terms of service, and the site's position on the about page.

Contacting the editor

Corrections, disagreements with a specific claim and press queries go to the editor via LinkedIn: linkedin.com/in/c-poly-48a089136. Response window is seven working days.
